OK, my name is Jan (pronounced "yahn"), ~30 years old (born in 1978) from Slovakia, central Europe. I am Ph.D. candidate in Library and Information Science at Comenius University in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. I graduated (with a M.Div. degree, Lutheran theology) from Comenius, as well as the School of Pedagogy of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (M.A., with honors), and the Open University Business School in the U.K. (Dip.Mgmt., Stage 1 of MBA). My academic work has been related to World Wide Web & communication as well as Google technologies (see details).

Emilia is my only sister -- she is five years younger, currently works in the USA, holds an M.S. degree in environmental education and loves to play around with computer graphics. We are both very proud of our mom who has recently started to learn German and English and was even admitted to college! :-))
